Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 ½ cups flour

  1. Mix the Dough: In a mixer, combine peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, salt, and baking soda. Mix until smooth. Gradually add flour until just combined.
  2. Shape & Roll: Roll dough into balls (about 2–3 tbsp each), then roll in sugar.
  3. Chill: Place the sugared dough balls on a tray, cover, and refrigerate for about 3 hours.
  4. Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place chilled dough balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  5. Cool & Enjoy: Let cookies cool on the pan for 2–3 minutes before transferring to a rack.
