  • 2 lbs cooked sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
Gravy:
  • Sausage drippings
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups milk

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Heat oven to 350°F and grease your baking dish. Add biscuit pieces in an even layer.
  2. Top with cooked sausage and cheese.
  3. Beat eggs and milk, then pour over the casserole.
  4. Make a quick gravy with sausage grease, flour, salt, and milk. Stir until thick.
  5. Pour gravy on top and bake for 35–45 minutes, until the top is golden.
  6. Cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

Make-ahead tip:
Fully bake, then refrigerate overnight. To reheat, cover with foil and warm at 350°F for 15–20 minutes, removing foil for the last 5 to crisp the top.
